We are pleased to announce three new recipients of the Scholarship Fund:

Speedwell Ogolo Speedwell is a graduate of Alief Early College High School and will be attending the University of Houston in the fall. Pursuing a degree in Bio Medical Engineering, he has a passion to help underserved communities and ultimately aims to develop a biotechnology company focused on affordable medical solutions for low resource regions. | ||

Ashly Lopez Ashly is a graduate of Challenge Early College High School and her aspiration is to become a medical sonographer in prenatal imaging. She views that career as a meaningful way to help families during a very difficult time in their lives. She enters the University of Houston this fall, majoring in Biology. | ||

Lester Camacho Lester is a graduate of Challenge Early College High School and will entering the University of Texas at Austin this fall and majoring in Chemical Engineering. His family’s immigration to the United States from Honduras was prompted by his medical condition: he has hemophilia and hopes to help others by tackling medical conditions in the Hispanic community worldwide. |

The Doug Miller & Don Sanders Scholarship fund provides Texas high school graduates the lifetime opportunity of advanced education free from financial worries or a lifetime of debt.
