Kathy Butler
President & Secretary
Kathy has spent nearly 40 years practicing law and is ready to take on the exciting challenge of helping high school students get a great college education without being weighted down by debt. She thrives on politics that can change lives for the better, learning more about our nation’s history and the beauty of strong friendships. She also has a deep love for Mexico that she regrets is not reflected in our current political dialogue.

M Colleen Sweeney
Vice President & Treasurer
Colleen loves to read, garden, cook/eat, enjoy time with her big crazy family and stay home with her cats. A University of Texas film grad, she owned ProductionWorks, a TV production company for 25 years until she and her husband Doug retired to Galveston Bay. A native Houstonian, she now lives (almost) in the loop.

Madeline Profilet
Director
Maddie Profilet left an established career in tech to go after her lifelong dream: being the boss. Madhouse Media, a full-service marketing agency headed by Profilet, is now a reality. Fighting for underserved and vulnerable populations, Profilet is a Big Sister through Big Brothers Big Sisters, serves on the Board of Directors for The Doug Miller & Don Sanders Scholarship Fund, and volunteers with Animal Justice League’s Fundraising Committee. Lately, politics has become a large part of her life, too.

Sanders Butler
Director
Sanders Butler is proud to be involved in this effort to honor his dad by helping others. He knows that the days of people like his dad being able to put themselves through college are long gone. And he strongly believes college should not cause crippling debt as has happened to so many of his friends.
