STOP - Read These Instructions Very Carefully Before Proceeding

This scholarship is designed to help low income students get a four year college education at a Texas public college or university.  We strive to support those students in their educational journey so that they can look for a life path that truly sustains them, rather than being limited to one that has the monetary potential necessary to pay off huge debts.

 

Because of our income guidelines, this scholarship is not for you if you are from a middle or upper income family. If you family’s FAFSA shows an EFC of more than $1500, you are not eligible for this scholarship. Thank you for understanding that. 

MAKE SURE YOU ARE ELIGIBLE BEFORE YOU APPLY. 

Here are the standards:

 

1. You are a low income (see below) Texas high school senior. You do not have to be a United States citizen. 

2. You have applied to or been accepted at a Texas PUBLIC University for Fall 2023. We do not fund out of state colleges or Texas private colleges. 

3. You will graduate with at least a 3.5 GPA. 

READ THE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY:

You must submit all required documents together:  (a) the application, (b) your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) and (c) your grade transcript. Collect these documents BEFORE you start the application. Deadline for submissions: February 15, 2023.  

                

This scholarship is for low income students. If your FAFSA shows a Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) Over $1500, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION.

  

If you are eligible for this scholarship, please submit the folllowing::

 

1. application below, 

2. your FAFSA or TASFA 

3. your grade transcripts. 

 

YOU MUST SUBMIT THESE THREE DOCUMENTS TOGETHER AT THE SAME TIME.
